The International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations (IECDR), Lviv Polytechnic National University, a long-standing strategic partner of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), invites you to an open meeting-discussion with the President of the UWC, Paul Grod.
Paul Grod is a leader of the new era who, leading the UWC, knows how to successfully combine traditions and ensure the effective activities of the organisation amid modern challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Paul Grod is a lawyer and business manager by training and currently serves as President and CEO of Rodan Energy Solutions.
As Iryna Kliuchkovska, Director of the IECDR, emphasizes «the meeting of the Lviv Polytechnic community with Paul Grod is another important step in deepening our cooperation. Together, we are creating a space for developing joint strategies that combine the academic experience of the University, Lviv Polytechnic, and the Ukrainian diaspora. Such dialogue enables the formation of new initiatives that strengthen the global Ukrainian community».
It is important that Andriy Shevchenko, Head of the UWC Mission in Ukraine, Ukrainian public figure, politician, diplomat, and journalist, People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the 5th, 6th, and 7th convocations, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Canada (2015–2021), will also participate in the event.
The event will take place on 11 December, 2025 in the Zachariewicz Hall (room 214) in the main building of Lviv Polytechnic. The event starts at 11:45.
The event will serve as a platform for dialogue among students, faculty, and diaspora representatives about the role of global Ukrainians in supporting today’s Ukraine and shaping its future. This meeting is particularly important for student youth, who are forming the intellectual and professional potential of tomorrow’s Ukraine.
