On March 19, 2021 we invite you to take part in the online event «On the day when the storks return… IECDR invites to a friendly conversation», organized by the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, for the Eastern Diaspora and representatives of numerous Ukrainian communities and Ukrainian studies centers in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Why March 19? Because on this day, as our ancestors believed, storks return to their native land, and no matter how difficult their journey was, they always find their way home. That’s why we chose this symbolic date to get together for a warm, heartfelt conversation: to remember old friends and meet new ones, to tell about ourselves, to offer help, and to agree on cooperation.
IECDR will present its new achievements: teaching materials on the Ukrainian language as a foreign language, educational portals for teachers and students, interesting formats of language schools. As a gift, every representative of a foreign school or community will receive a surprise from our Institute!
The guests of the meeting will acquaint us with the activities of Ukrainian communities, schools, cultural centers in their countries; share information about various events that have already taken place or are planned for the future; and talk about problems in education and culture.
Remember, storks come home because they are being waited for!
