On September 9, 2021, a mobile exhibition of the Tkuma (Revival) Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies in Dnipro, dedicated to the memory of Ukrainians – rescuers of Jews during the Second World War, will be opened in the lobby of the main building of Lviv Polytechnic National University. Beginning at 12:00.
A lecture on «The rescuers of the Jews during the Holocaust: the regional dimension» will begin at 14:00 in the room 217 of the main building. The speaker is Olena Ishchenko, Candidate of Historical Sciences, researcher at the Tkuma Institute.
On the same day, a book exhibition «Holocaust – features of the regional dimension» will be opened in the reading room of the Scientific and Technical Library, Lviv Polytechnic.
Admission to all events is free of charge.
