On September 23, 2024, a workshop on the Place of Intellectual Property in Innovative Projects will be held in the Assembly Hall of the main building of Lviv Polytechnic. It is organized jointly with the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovation (IP Office) as part of the opening of the Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) at the University.
The speakers will be representatives of the IP Office:
- Ihor Parenchuk, Deputy Director;
- Anastasiia Yarmoliuk, Head of the Network Development Division of the Technology and Innovation Support Centers, Department of Innovation Development;
- Yuliana Zukh-Kipriianova, Innovation Activity Specialist at the Network Development Division of the Technology and Innovation Support Centers, Department of Innovation Development.
The workshop will deal with the following issues:
- higher education institution as an entity of the innovation ecosystem;
- development of innovative projects and startup movement in higher education institutions;
- peculiarities of IP protection and protection of innovative projects: cases and applied issues.
Young inventors, scientists, researchers, innovators, developers, creators, and everyone interested in joining the workshop are invited to participate. The event will be of particular interest to those who are familiar with the world of intellectual property and want to develop their own innovative projects.
