The International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, is pleased to announce that the 19th International School of Ukrainian Studies «Step to Ukraine» started its work on July 15.
This year students from 11 countries – Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Norway, South Korea, Poland, and the United States – will learn about Ukraine. Together we will create a unique communication and education platform for learning the Ukrainian language and culture.
The students will have two weeks of intense and interesting classes, during which they will not only be able to expand their knowledge and skills in the Ukrainian language, but also take part in exciting speaking clubs.
The goal of the school is not only to educate, but also to create a community of like-minded people, an environment where everyone can share their ideas, find new friends and become part of a big family united by love for Ukraine. We believe that these two weeks will be interesting for all participants and will help them make an important step towards Ukraine. We wish all the students success, inspiration and vivid impressions from their studies and acquaintance with a rich, often unknown culture! Let’s work together for the future!
Iryna Kliuchkovska, Director of the IECDR, founder of the School of Ukrainian Studies, said: «The world is created by brave and risk-taking people. We launched this project at a time when our society had no understanding of the importance of the Ukrainian language in the world. We have come a long and difficult way. And today we can say that the school is another great success for us, based on our belief in Ukraine and its future. For me, the Step to Ukraine School is a source of great pride for the people and colleagues I work with today». So, let’s step towards Ukraine together!
The IECDR expresses its sincere gratitude to the World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations for granting the Anna Kisil Scholarship. This scholarship has opened up unique opportunities for our students to immerse themselves in the study of the Ukrainian language and culture, and we are sincerely grateful for this support!
