On June 19, 2019, the Organizing Committee of the rector’s election announced the results of the voting at Lviv Polytechnic National University. Thus, almost 84% of the total number of electors voted for Professor Yurii Bobalo, Doctor of Technical Sciences, the Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, to be the rector of our university.
In total, 3637 electors out of 3957 took part in the voting (which is almost 92%). 102 bulletins were recognized invalid. 217 voters (5.48%) did not support the candidate.
This time, the scientific, scientific and pedagogical staff, students and elected representatives of other categories of employees of university and nine colleges of Lviv Polytechnic took part in the voting.
