A delegation of academics from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (Lublin, Poland) paid a visit to the Department of Marketing and Logistics, the Institute of Economics and Management, Lviv Polytechnic National University. From November 8 to 12, the guests gave a series of lectures for bachelor’s and master’s students majoring in Marketing.
The training took place due to the Staff Mobility for Teaching programme within the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (KA107). Academics presented to the audience interesting topics, in particular:
- Pricing policy,
- Elasticity of demand,
- Experience in setting prices in well-known companies,
- Types of costs,
- Cost management,
- Multi-channel distribution,
- Consumer segmentation,
- Brand strategy,
- Public Relations,
- Theories of consumer behavior,
- Advertising solutions of the company,
- Corporate identity,
- and others.
Both academics and students express their gratitude to the Polish colleagues:

- Tomasz Kijek – Head of the Department of Microeconomics and Applied Economics;
- Ilona Bondos – Professor at the Department of Information Systems and Logistics.
In accordance with the academic exchange program, the Interinstitutional Agreement (2020–2022) was signed between Lviv Polytechnic National University and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. At the meeting in Lviv, representatives of the program from universities discussed the formation of the Marketing program content, its actualization, as well as considered the prospects of joint research and opportunities for cooperation in project activities.
