The Call for Visegrad+ proposals from the International Visegrad Fund is open

The Lviv Polytechnic Project Office informs the University academics and researchers that the call for Visegrad + proposals from the International Visegrad Fund has been opened.

The projects should develop cooperation and ensure the active participation with at least 3 Visegrad countries (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic) and 1 organisation from the Eastern Partnership region (Ukraine) or the Western Balkans. However, if the application involves 2 countries from the Eastern Partnership region or the Western Balkans, it is sufficient to include 2 countries from the Visegrad countries.

Applications must meet the main objectives of the call and focus on the following research areas:

  1. Culture and common identity;
  2. Education and capacity building;
  3. Innovation, research, development and entrepreneurship;
  4. Democratic values and media;
  5. Public policy and institutional partnerships;
  6. Regional development, environment and tourism;
  7. Social development.

The competition involves the preparation and submission of a full application form on My Visegrad online platform. Ukraine can act both as a partner and as a coordinator of such a project. The maximum duration of the program and activities is 18 months.

The application deadline is 1 February 2025.
