Students and academics of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, IHSS, the Department of Electric Power Engineering and Control Systems, IPEC, as well as representatives of the UNDP program in Ukraine, the Regional Council and the city’s housing cooperatives attended the event.
The implementation of a joint EU / UNDP Houses project, the Lviv region’s strategy in the context of energy efficiency and housing cooperatives’ support, energy efficiency program for population, practice of energy auditing of heat supply in cities companies to develop energy efficiency measures, as well as the role of universities in the implementation of energy policy in Ukraine were discussed at the forum.
Students of IPEC and IHSS participated in the Energy Efficiency Competition, preparing studies on energy policy of household waste, ash and slag recycling in Ukraine, alternative energy, «smart» cities of the future, the results of the implementation of sustainable development goals in our country, UN environmental projects in Ukraine, etc. During the forum, these students were presented with prizes.
