On July 4, 2019, six sculptures of the XVIII–XIX centuries, located around the Latin Cathedral in the center of Lviv, were taken for restoration. Sculptures must be restored and returned to their place by December 1.
The total cost of sculpture restoration is 350 thousand PLN (about 2.4 million UAH), and it is fully funded by POLONIKA National Institute of Polish Cultural Heritage Abroad. The work will be done by the graduates of the Department of Architecture and Restoration of Lviv Polytechnic National University and their colleagues from Poland.
