The Thanksgiving Prayer at the beginning of a new year has already become a good tradition for the staff of the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University. Led by Iryna Kliuchkovska, Director of IECDR, they gather in St. George’s Cathedral for a prayer to thank Lord for the year, for all the good that was in it, and to ask for blessings for fruitful work in a new year.
On January 11, 2021, the Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary was performed by Metropolitan Archpriest Roman Kravchyk, administrator of the Cathedral.
Employees of the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations prayed for Ukraine, for our soldiers-defenders, for medics, for our Church, for the academic community of Lviv Polytechnic; for successful IECDR projects, and also asked for God’s grace for themselves and their families.
