On September 12, 2020 on the occasion of the beginning of a new academic year the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the International Educational Coordinating Council of the Ukrainian World Congress, held a webinar «Highlights of diplomacy» conducted by Oleksandr Balanutsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait, on the Zoom platform.
From the beginning, as soon as IECDR received an offer from Mr. Balanutsa, it was clear that the webinar would break stereotypes. The idea of Mr. Ambassador to present the course in cooperation with IECDR was very good, as IECDR is the most leading institution that constantly cooperates with the world Ukrainians. As a result participants from 34 countries: Australia, Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Estonia, Egypt, Israel, Spain, Italy, Iran, Jordan, Canada, Kazakhstan, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mongolia, the Netherlands, Germany, the UAE, Poland, Slovenia, the USA, Turkey, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Finland, France, Sweden, Montenegro and Japan joined the webinar on the Zoom platform. Many people watched the broadcast of the event on the Facebook page of IECDR.
The webinar «Diplomacy Highlights» attracted the attention of a large number of people. There were a lot of questions in the Zoom chat and in the comments on Facebook, to which Mr. Ambassador gave comprehensive answers, as well as a lot of pleasant reflections and expression of gratitude to both to the organizers and directly to Oleksandr Balanutsa.
We are sure that the course «Diplomacy Highlights», which Mr. Balanutsa shared with educators around the world, will really become the highlight of study programs of many Ukrainian schools on all continents, and diplomats around the world, by the example of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Oleksandr Balanutsa, will become closer to the communities, and, in particular, the children for whom they work.
