On September 10, Lviv Polytechnic opened the International Conference of Metrologists 2019 (XХІІІ International Seminar of Metrologists), which will last till September 12. The event is organized by the Department of Measuring Information Technologies of the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology on the occasion of its 100 anniversary.
Participants include scientists from more than 20 Ukrainian universities and enterprises as well as Polish and German specialists in the field of Metrology.
The topics of the conference are dedicated to such scientific fields as fundamental problems in metrology, sensors and measuring transducers, information-measuring systems in robotics, measurements in nanotechnologies, analysis and processing of measuring signals, measurements in industry, virtual measuring means, etc.
Also within the framework of the event there is an exhibition of products of IFM ELECTRONIC, Germany, the leading company in the development and production of smart sensors and automation elements in Europe.
