On May 7, 2019, in the Red Hall of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University there was the final stage of the national essay contest «Looking to the Future – Common Values, Common Dreams» dedicated to the Neighbour Day. The contest was held within the framework of the ENACTED project – «The European Union and its neighbours. Network for enhancing EU’s actorness in the eastern borderlands»(2017–2625), funded by the European Union and aimed at revealing the public perception of the processes of European integration and Europeanization, the challenges facing the European project, European values, the future of the European Union and other EU-related issues.
Anna Holovko, a third-year student of the «Tourism» specialty at Lviv Polytechnic National University, took the first place in the contest, with the essay entitled «The European Union as an example of rational use of the concept of sustainable development in the society».
