On June 4, a new Laboratory of Server Equipment and Computer Communication was opened at Khmelnytskyi Polytechnic College. The computer network of the College has been completely modernized:
- a separate room for server equipment has been allocated and modern repair has been made;
- a powerful router that can work 24/7 with a large number of subscribers has been purchased;
- the maximum network speed has been increased to 500 Mbit/s;
- Layer 2 Managed Switches have been installed;
- «best practices» in updating and configuring the network have been applied;
- part of the College’s structured cabling system has been updated;
- 14 laptops have been bought.
A new training laboratory will provide quality teaching and learning with the help of the latest technologies and will increase the efficiency of the educational process.
This important event was made possible due to the sponsorship of Lviv Polytechnic National University and Andrii Kornytskyi, a graduate of Khmelnytskyi Polytechnic College. This talented young man became the pride of Khmelnytskyi Polytechnicians, when, while studying at the College, he won the All-Ukrainian Competition in Informatics and became the best in Ukraine. Andrii received his higher education at Lviv Polytechnic. Today, he is building a successful career and maintaining friendly relations with his Alma Mater.
