The Ukraine Global Faculty project is for students, postgraduates and faculty of Ukrainian institutions of higher education. Within its framework foreign professors from leading universities, top experts and entrepreneurs give online lectures to the Ukrainian audience.
On February 14, 2023, the lecture «Advanced Supervised Learning: Decision Trees and Random Forests» will be held as part of the project. Speaker – Volodymyr Kuleshov, Assistant Professor at the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech and in the Computer Science Department at Cornell University, PhD.
The lecture will introduce some advanced machine learning algorithms that enable state-of-the-art performance for many applied tasks.
The event starts at 17:00 Kyiv time, the duration is 90 minutes. The language of the lecture is English with simultaneous translation into Ukrainian.
