On October 26, 2021, a meeting was held in the form of a video conference between representatives of Lviv Polytechnic National University and Knorr-Bremse.
The German company Knorr-Bremse is the world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems, transmission components and steering. It has about 30,000 employees in 30 countries, and sales in 2020 reached 6.2 billion euros.
Professor Bohdan Kindratskyi, Head of the Motor Vehicle Transport, the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport, Associate Professor Olena Lanets, coordinator of academic mobility programs, and Assistant Professor Oleksii Osmak took part in the discussion on behalf of the University.
The Knorr-Bremse company was represented by Nadia Thiele, Member of the Executive Board, and Andreas Wimmer, Vice President of Systems, Technology and Innovation.
At the meeting the parties reached an agreement on further cooperation.
