On September 21, the U-Multirank ranking published its annual university rankings. The ranking covered 1948 universities from 97 countries of the world, including 79 institutions of higher education of Ukraine.
In 2021, Lviv Polytechnic entered the TOP-25 best universities in the world in two areas – Co-Publications With Industrial Partners and International Joint Publications (for the second time in this area). Co-publications with industrial partners and international joint publications were evaluated.
The best universities can use badges confirming the corresponding status on the website, online resources and marketing materials.
U-Multirank is an independent ranking prepared with seed funding from the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme. It compares the performances of universities in the five dimensions of their activity: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement. For several years in a row the strongest activity of Lviv Polytechnic is teaching and learning.
In addition to participating in the overall university ranking, in 2021, according to the list defined by the organizers of the ranking, Lviv Polytechnic presented the results of activities in such areas as «Pharmacy», «Social Work» and «Psychology». The University took second (among five), eighth (among 15), and 11 (among 19) places in the rankings in these areas among higher education institutions of Ukraine.
