Unfortunately, Lviv Polytechnicians were among the victims of the missile attack on September 4 on Frankivsk and Zaliznychnyi districts of Lviv. People were injured, some lost their homes and others need to repair theirs.

The regional and city authorities appealed to the leaders of various countries, a number of international organisations, and foreign communities to help restore the destroyed buildings.

For its part, Lviv Polytechnic will also support its employees and students who have suffered from enemy shelling. Some of them have already informed the management of their Institutes or Departments about the terrible situation they found themselves in. However, we understand that there are more victims, so we advise you to come and report your situation so that we can help. The university will pay financial aid to its students and employees to support them in this difficult time. We would also be grateful if everyone, in a way that is acceptable to them, helps their colleagues to go through these trials, said the Acting Director Yurii Bobalo.
