In order to improve communication and discuss important issues for employees of Lviv Polytechnic, the head of the Staff Union of our University, together with the union members, initiated a meeting with the administration.
― Employees of Lviv Polytechnic often come to me with various questions. Of course, I try to find answers to all their questions, I consult with the University management. And it is precisely such joint meetings that make it possible to more quickly discuss what is relevant for Polytechnicians, explained the head of the Staff Union, Roman Kolodii.
The issues, which were discussed at the meeting, included housing and household issues, related to the protection of social interests of employees of the higher education institution. Particular attention was paid to the conditions of competitive selection for vacant positions, and personnel policy. The issues of the upskilling possibilities for researchers and teaching staff abroad with the preservation of salary and provision of technical means for education were not overlooked either.
― For us, the issue of constant communication is fundamental. After all, employees should know that their interests are important for the leadership of Lviv Polytechnic. Such meetings help to better understand the policy of the University and the decisions made, added Roman Kolodii.
On November 2, there will be a reporting meeting of the Lviv Polytechnic Staff Union.
