For the fifth time, Lviv Polytechnic hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding benefactors and partners who have helped our university to improve and become better, and, accordingly, work for the future of Ukraine and its development.
Professor Yurii Bobalo, Acting Rector of Lviv Polytechnic, welcomed the guests and said:
– Difficult times, the years of war seem to have stopped Lviv Polytechnic from moving forward, but despite everything our university is developing and will continue to work as long as we have people like you, those who support Lviv Polytechnic in various ways. Today we have gathered to honour Lviv Polytechnic’s benefactors of the year. These are the people who make our university live and thrive. I thank everyone who never gets tired of supporting our university. I bow low and thank you all today!
Traditionally, benefactors have been recognised in the following categories:
- Benefactor of the Year – Legal entity
- Benefactor of the Year – Individual
- Benefactor of the Year – The best volunteer

Appreciating the important contribution of volunteers, Lviv Polytechnic chose a winner in The Best Volunteer category. It is Christopher Watson, President of Greenfield Investments, LLC, USA.
