On December 5, as part of the IDEA educational project, a training on the topic «Project management and entrepreneurship: idea, its search and presentation at the final competition» was held with the support of the Department of Management of Organizations, the Institute of Economics and Management, Lviv Polytechnic National University. 154 participants – students of specialized pre-higher and professional education, and students of general secondary education institutions of the Lviv region – took part in the event.
The purpose of the training is to help creative youth reveal their potential and to provide opportunities to turn a bright idea into a successful project.
At the event, young people had the opportunity not only to deepen their knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship, to gain an understanding of business and innovation, but also to take part in entrepreneurship games conducted by the representatives of Lviv Polytechnic National University and the Entrepreneurship Support Center of the Lviv City Council.
The basis for the event is the Memorandum on the implementation of the Junior MBA and IDEA educational programs within the framework of the Smart Space between Lviv Polytechnic National University, the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the Development Department of the Lviv City Council, the Vocational Education Department of the Development Department of the Lviv City Council, Department of Youth Policy of the Development Department of the Lviv City Council, the Entrepreneurship Support Center of the Lviv City Council, IT companies (Sigma Software, Eleks Software, Soft Serve), territorial communities (Strrlky, Shehyniv, Solonka, Zhovkva, Zolochiv, Pidberiztsia, Mykolaiv), Chervonograd Regional State Administration, public organization «Future IN.UA», NGO «Ambassadors of Education», Lviv Regional Small Academy of Sciences, and Lviv State House of Technology.
Business games teach financial literacy and model human life taking into account aspects of modern society. Players are faced with a series of difficult tasks: to make decisions independently, to look for the most productive strategies of behavior and to understand how to effectively apply yourself in life, and to go beyond the framework of the template, and then analyze your mistakes and successes.
It should be noted that the participants of the training will take part in the final competition of the project – the IDEA competition, where they will present their own projects. The best teams will receive individual mentoring support from project partners. Each idea proposed by a participant may be selected by a partner firm or investor for its full or partial implementation.
