The next stage of the Wheelchair Fencing World Cup took place in Eger, Hungary. The athletes from 29 countries of the world took part in the competition. Ukrainian National Paralympic Team was awarded one gold, two silver and two bronze awards, four of which were received in women sabre and rapier fencing.
Andriy Demchuk, who won bronze in rapier fencing (category A), was the only male medalist in the national team.
Andrii Demchuk is Assistant at the Department of Information Systems and Networks, Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, Champion of the XV Summer Paralympics 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.
