Lviv Regional Branch of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Cyberbasketball Federation organizes All-Ukrainian Cyberbasketball University Games among students, which will take place online from April 25 to May 20, 2021.
The competition will consist of a qualifying round, a playoff and a final and will take place on the Sony PlayStation 4, Sony PlayStation 5 current gen platforms and on personal computers based on the NBA2k21 basketball simulator from the developer VisualConcept.
– The purpose of the event is to introduce the innovative approaches to the combination of physical activity and e-sports, as well as to develop soft-skills in students using a sports simulator, which is extremely important for students of technical specialties. Given that the competition will be held both in individual (1 × 1) and team formats (3 × 3, 5 × 5), we expect that Lviv Polytechnic will take an active part in the competition, said Anatolii Ihnatovych, Associate Professor at the Department of Electronic Computing Machines, the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology, Head of the Lviv Regional Branch of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
To participate in the event, you must register on the online platform of the event till 17:00 on April 18.
