Polytechnic plans to create a youth art space. The project aims at integrating different campus locations into a single creative and dynamic ecosystem. Currently, there is the stage of gathering information and meetings, to which we invite experienced professors and faculty of our University to jointly build the concept of the project. In particular, the Doctor of Architecture, Professor, Dean of the Institute of Architecture and Design, Head of the Department of Architectural Environment Design, the Institute of Architecture and Design, Lviv Polytechnic National University, a full member of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture, Head of the EBA Lviv-Western Ukrainian Office Viktor Proskuriakov shared his thoughts on this topic.
«First of all, we need to be studious. We must understand that we have short-term and long-term tasks, which must be fulfilled step by step, – says Viktor Proskuriakov and adds: secondly, Polytechnic is a national university, so we have certain financial constraints. Therefore, we should first work out a system of implementing priority ideas, start with the implementation of some specific small tasks, and then work on more global ideas.
It is necessary to create a series of such meetings with university leaders, architects, designers, to hear the views of Rector and Vice-Rectors and, of course, specialists.
