The project team of Lviv Polytechnic Art Space met with Yurii Bobalo, Rector of our University, and Liliia Zhuk, Vice-Rector for Education and Strategic Development, and discussed the development concept and facilities of the Polytechnic campus.
– One of the important goals of the University Strategy until 2025 is to create an environment conducive to learning, work and personal development. Therefore, such an initiative of the Board of the Alumni Association is timely and, of course, the University administration supports and promotes the development of this project. The developments reviewed at the meeting are interesting and, I think, they should be discussed with a wide range of experts and stakeholders, – said Vice-Rector Liliia Zhuk.
Let us remind you that this project is being implemented on a volunteer basis by students, faculty of Lviv Polytechnic and representatives of the architectural bureau RE+ with the support of the University Alumni Association.
– For us, this is a priority project, because it will increase the competitiveness of our University in the educational space not only in Ukraine. We hope we will be able to unite our graduates around it. Lots of them have significant experience and achievements, due to which they will be able to help to effectively and efficiently implement the Lviv Polytechnic Art Space project. In October, we will meet with experts in various fields to improve the concept and talk in more detail about the project at a round table, – added Ihor Pavlishevskyi, the Chairman of the Polytechnic Alumni Association.
The concept of the Art Space is developed taking into account the opinions of employees, students, and University graduates who took part in the anonymous survey.
– As of June 2021, 1285 people took part in the survey, including 238 teachers and 930 students. However, those still interested can share their vision and take the survey. We will be grateful to everyone who cares about the development of our University. The comments and critical remarks are very useful for the project team and the processed materials of the survey and the concept can be reviewed, – said Natalka Danylko, the assistant at the Department of Urban Planning and Design, the Institute of Architecture.
