It is worth noting the report of Professor Andrij Pich (Germany) Multifunctional nanogels for theranostic applications, dedicated to the development of nanogels for medical and biological applications. Very relevant were the reports of Professor Alexander Zaichenko (Lviv Polytechnic National University), Professor Sergiy Minko (USA), Zoriana Demchuk (USA), Professor Anna Musyanovych (Germany), Professor Alexander Sidorenko (USA), Professor Igor Luzinov (USA), Professor Stuart G. Croll (USA), which were dedicated to the latest methods and technologies for creating smart polymer nanomaterials, surfaces with specific properties, materials for medical and biological purposes, etc. The participants were very interested in the works of Professor Nazariy Pokhodylo (Ivan Franko Lviv National University), Ivanna Subtelna (Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University) and Orest Hevus (Lviv Polytechnic National University), which presented the synthesis of new biologically active substances having antitumor and antimicrobial properties.
