We continue to familiarize the project’s target audience with the world-leading and European business experience within Jean Monnet Modules «Logistics and Supply Chain Management» project.
Last week, the third year students majoring in Logistics, Lviv Polytechnic National University, together with Associate Professor Nataliia Haivanovych, a Project Coordinator, visited Rosan Pak, Ukrainian-Canadian Joint Venture.
Rosan Pak LLC is a leader in the field of packaging in the Ukrainian market. There are more than 500 packages, and the number of regular customers is more than 300. By gaining consumer market, RosanPak created a wide sales network across the country (including 6 regional warehouses and more than 10 distributors in different regions of the country), and expanded its export business to many European countries. Raw materials for products manufacturing are delivered from different countries, including India, China, Poland, Belarus, etc.
We are very pleased that our students:
- learned about the peculiarities of the processes of manufacturing, processing and recycling of plastic packaging and about new, more environmentally friendly, types of plastic used by the company;
- got acquainted with the processes of order formation, shipment, transportation and storage of plastic products;
- got acquainted with the organization of logistics in different directions (supply, transportation, manufacturing, warehousing and marketing) and supply chain management, where an important factor is the establishment of stable and flexible partnerships with suppliers, carriers, customers, etc.
We express our gratitude for organizing and conducting an interesting and informative excursion to Yurii Karpiak, Director of the Sales Department, Rosan Pak LLC, and Volodymyr Stsira, Head of the Planning and Production Department, Rosan Pak LLC!
