From October 29 to November 9, 2018, the teachers of the Transport Technologies Department of Lviv Polytechnic National University, associate professor Volodymyr Hilevych and assistant Taras Postranskyy, were trained according to the SmaLog project at Hochschule Wismar University of Applied Sciences: Technology, Businessand Design (Germany).
According to the internship program, the staff of the Transport Technologies Department took part in the following events:
- listened to lectures on mobility and logistics, and also attended the seminar «Mobility in Rural Areas»;
- acquainted with the work of the Department of Distance Education at Wismar University(WINGS limited);
- visited Maritime Simulation Centre;
- met with:
- Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Wismar University;
- the city leadership of Wismar Town and employees of the Mobility and Logistics Division;
- companies and organizations working in the field of mobility and logistics (FleetMon, Logistic Initiative Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Hamburger Hafen und Kogistig AG).
The training occurred under the direct guide of the director of Robert-Schmidt-Institut of Wismar University, of Professor Norbert Gruenwald. According to the results of the internship, the University’s staff received the corresponding certificates.
