Last week, on November 21–23, 2023, the 2nd All-Ukrainian interuniversity online career event «Time to Work 2023» was held at Lviv Polytechnic.
The career centers of 14 leading universities of Ukraine united their efforts to organize and hold this large-scale event:
- Lviv Polytechnic National University (Department of Employment and Industrial Relations);
- National Technical University of Ukraine «Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute»;
- Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University;
- National University «Kyiv-Mohyla Academy»;
- Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University;
- State University of Trade and Economics;
- V. Karazin Kharkiv National University;
- Ivan Franko Lviv National University;
- Stepan Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies;
- KROK University of Economics and Law;
- National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine;
- Odesa National University of Technology;
- Poltava University of Economics and Trade;
- Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
More than 50 companies took part in the online career event «Time to Work», including: SoftServe, Genesis, EY, lifecell, Metinvest Digital, Yalantis, PwC, AC Crowe Ukraine, ZONE3000, Baker Tilly, IPlan, JSC TASKOMBANK, Infineon, Mazars Ukraine, AkordBank, MEREZHA PRAVA, TCM Group Ukraine, Goodwelly, Renesas Electronics, Podorozhnyk, Logity, Boosta, Deloitte, Sigma Software, NBU, Apteka Dobroho Dnya, PJSC «Halychpharm», Farmak, Progresstech, LLC «SILPO -FOOD», Epicenter K, OKKO, Optima Hotels & Resorts, Barcom, LLC «AGROL», LLC «Timak Agro Ukraine», KERNEL, LLC «Firma Eridon», LLC «Delta Wilmar Ukraine», Association KONSORT, Poltava Diamond Tools, Lviv Refrigeration Plant, Yasno, Melexis, United Nations World Food Program, State Enterprise «Mystetskyi Arsenal», and Lviv City Council.
More than 1500 students, graduates and faculties of the Departments responsible for employment and organization of practice attended the event. The program included online work in two parallel sections every day: first at workshops, and then at HR sessions and meetings with «Ask a Pro» experts from employer companies. During the event, 60 workshops, master classes and trainings were held, and more than 120 jobs in various fields were presented.
Recordings of the webinars are distributed in the Telegram channel «Career Studio» for students to view.
The Department of Employment and Industrial Relations, Lviv Polytechnic, annually creates an electronic catalogue-presentation of the participants of the career event. It provides information about the companies, current job offers, contacts of persons responsible for personnel selection, employment opportunities, and internships. The electronic presentation catalogue will later be published on the page of the Department of Employment and Industrial Relations and distributed among the participants of the event as an advertising and informational material, sent to the departments responsible for internships and employment of graduates, as well as posted on the University website and in social networks.
Such events are a platform for interaction between employers and job seekers and provide an opportunity to learn more about the companies, job offers and career development opportunities for potential employees. The companies thus popularize the employer brand and have the opportunity to select employees for job offers or create a personnel reserve.
