Traditionally, every year, in the spring period, the Department of Sociology and Social Work, Lviv Polytechnic National University, organizes and conducts the International Scientific Conference «Sociology – Social Work and Social Security – Regulation of Social Problems».
During May 18–19, representatives of the domestic and international scientific community had the opportunity to exchange opinions on the current social problems of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, in particular:
- social dimensions of the consequences of Russian aggression against Ukraine, the place and role of sociology and social work in overcoming these consequences;
- increasing the interest of young researchers in active scientific activity in the field of sociology, social work and social security;
- promoting the formation of scientific and academic relations between leading educational and research institutions of the socio-humanitarian profile of Ukraine and foreign countries.
