On November 7, 2018, Lviv Polytechnic National University hosted a scientific and practical seminar on Innovative Ways to Preserve the Intellectual Heritage of Ukrainian Emigration. It was organized and conducted by the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations.
The highlight of the seminar was the presentation of Diasporiana electronic library. This unique project that aims to preserve the intellectual heritage of Ukrainian emigration was presented by its founder Oleh Bohuslavskyi, a well-known scientist, Director of the Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication of Classic Private University in Zaporizhia. He underlined that this electronic library opens to the world the history of the Ukrainian diaspora and helps the researchers investigate the scientific and cultural heritage of our people.
