On May 20–21, 2021, on the World Metrology Day and the World Embroidery Day, Lviv Polytechnic National University held the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference on Quality Management in Education and Industry: Experience, Problems and Prospects.
Organizers: Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Lviv Polytechnic National University, State Enterprise «Research Institute of Metrology of Measuring and Control Systems», Academy of Technical Sciences of Ukraine, Academy of Metrology of Ukraine, Accreditation Agency for Higher Education Institutions of the Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and Technical University of Varna (Bulgaria).
Coordinators: the Department of Measuring Information Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic National University and the State Enterprise «Research Institute of Metrology of Measuring and Control Systems».
105 abstracts were submitted to the conference, 213 researchers from abroad: Banja Luka (Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina), Ilmenau (Germany), Varna (Bulgaria) and from more than 20 cities of Ukraine: Bila Tserkva, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Illinivka, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Lysychansk, Lozova, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Rivne, Ternopil, Uzhhorod, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv took part in the event.
Professor Nataliya Chukhray, Doctor of Economics, Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations delivered welcome speech. The plenary session of the conference was chaired by Professor Mykola Mykyichuk, Director of the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology.
