The repository of the Scientific and Technical Library of Lviv Polytechnic National University entered the top 100 in the Transparent Ranking: Institutional Repositories by Google Scholar in April 2020. The ranking evaluates library databases according to one criterion – the number of documents that are indexed by the Google Scholar search engine. In total, it has almost 2,700 participants.
The first place in the ranking is occupied by the bibliographic database on astrophysics of the Smithsonian Institution and NASA (Smithsonian / NASA Astrophysics Data System), and the second – NASA Technical Reports Server.
To the top 100 also entered such Ukrainian Institutional Repositories as:
- Sumy State University (37th place in the world);
- Lviv Polytechnic National University (66);
- National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» (85).
