The Project Office, Lviv Polytechnic National University, informs about the possibility to participate in the competition for small grants of the British Council Cultural Protection Fund.
This competition is aimed at supporting projects related to the protection of cultural heritage and the role of local communities in its preservation. In particular, it is about:
- archaeological sites and monuments;
- collections of objects, books or documents in museums, libraries or archives;
- historical buildings;
- cultural traditions such as stories, festivals, crafts, music, dance and costumes;
- stories of people, communities, places and events;
- heritage of languages and dialects;
- oral memories of eyewitnesses and their experiences.
Scientists from Ukraine can apply for participation in the competition if they have a local partner from the target regions of the project.
The competition budget is up to £100,000.
The Cultural Protection Fund makes decisions on applications for small grants every quarter. The nearest deadline is October 31, 2022.
