Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic National University, invites students of 9–11 grades to the Winter School on Student Self-Government.
Those who want to participate in the School are offered to gather a team of 3 pupils, undergo online training from the faculty of the Department of Administrative and Financial Management, the Institute of Administration, Public Administration and Professional Development, Lviv Polytechnic, and mentors of Tech StartUp School and develop a project that will improve the life of their educational institution.
The School will take place online from February 2 to 23, 2024 and will include the following topics:
- design thinking and creativity;
- emotional intelligence and conflict resolution;
- leadership and team building;
- communications and PR;
- management, self-governance and time management.
The best projects will be presented on February 24 at the School finals, and the winners will be awarded with cash prizes.
As part of the project, the most active participants of the School:
- students of Lviv Region will be able to visit the Department of Education and Science, Lviv Regional Military Administration, to communicate with the Department’s management and learn more about how the state administration works;
- students of Ivano-Frankivsk Region will be able to visit Kalush District State Administration and Kalush City Council, to talk to the leadership of the District State Administration, the Mayor of Kalush City Council and learn more about how the body of state power and local self-government works.
There also will be an excursion to the Department of Administrative and Financial Management, Lviv Polytechnic, where students will see with their own eyes how and who trains the managers.
The registration deadline is January 31, 2024.
The organizers of the event are the Department of Education and Science, Lviv Regional Military Administration, Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic National University, in partnership with the Kalush District State Administration and the Kalush City Council.
