Dear Polytechnicians!
Today’s conditions have become a real challenge not only to the ordinary way and rhythm of life, but also to our communication system. Now we must introduce new approaches and methods of interaction at all levels that in the future will become a norm of our university’s activity.
«Change fast or stay with nothing,» say managers. Therefore, we cannot delay, but we must act decisively to become more competitive and not to be an outsider.
The important unit of the University is the Department. So now, as never before, the University depends on the activity of the Department Heads and their organizational and leadership qualities, as well as on the high quality of communication between the academic staff and students.
We already use a lot of external and internal resources for communication. In particular, more than 70% of our academic staff and more than 40% of students work in the Virtual Learning Environment. But this is not the level to which we aspire to.
I am sure that for each of us and for Polytechnic in general this time will be a chance to reach higher level of efficiency – in work and study and will open new opportunities for the development of our university.
I wish you all health, success and inspiration!
