The results of the 76th students’ scientific and technical conference, held at Lviv Polytechnic National University in October 2018, were summed up. On this occasion, in the assembly hall of the main building, there was a solemn meeting, attended by the conference winners, University leaders and heads of the Institutes. Liliia Zhuk, Head of the Research and Development Department of University delivered an opening speech.
Welcoming the winners of the students’ scientific and technical conference, Professor Yurii Bobalo, Rector of Lviv Polytechnic University, emphasized the importance and benefits of the creative competition of student researchers. He appreciated their active participation in scientific and technical work, stressing that in Lviv Polytechnic students are always on the first place. Rector expressed the hope that the best of them will soon join the ranks of those who apply for PhD studies at University and wished everyone Happy New Year and Merry Christmas.
According to Rector’s order 72 students became the winners of the 76th students’ scientific and technical conference, presenting 16 Institutes of University. They received diplomas, awards and souvenirs.
Everybody enjoyed the performance by a folk bandura players ensemble Zaspiv. And after the celebration, the conference winner together with Rector of University Yuri Bobalo turned on lights on New Year’s tree.
