Activities of the Department of Administrative and Informational Law are primarily concerned with the research work.
The principal forms of the research work of the Department staff include:
- preparation of dissertations of the scientific degree of PhD and Doctor of Sciences by PhD students and teachers of the Department;
- work on textbooks, manuals, monographs, lectures, scientific articles, etc.;
- participation of the Department staff in Ukrainian and International scientific and practical conferences;
- internship of the Department members at higher education establishments in Ukraine and abroad;
- scientific cooperation with the bodies of state power, local authorities, research institutions in the form of round table discussions, symposiums, conferences, seminars, etc.;
- involvement of students in research work, and others.
The scientific focus of the Department of Administrative and Informational Law is made on “Administrative and legal doctrine of protection of human and citizen’s rights and freedoms in the context of Ukraine’s European integration” 0121U110638.
The Department organizes International and Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences:
- International scientific and practical conference “Problems of development of the administrative, financial and informational law in the context of the European integration processes” (Lviv, 15 April 2021);
- Ukrainian scientific and practical conference “Administrative law and process: problems and prospects of development” (Lviv, 6 November 2020);
- IV International scientific and practical conference on IT law: problems and prospects of development in Ukraine (Lviv, 27 November 2020).
The Department’s international agreements on scientific cooperation:
- Framework agreement on cooperation with the Faculty of Law and Social Studies of Bielsko-Biała School of Finances and Law (Bielsko Biała, Poland) since 2021.
- Memorandum on cooperation with the Public organization called “International Foundation of Researchers and Educators” since 2021.
