Recently, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco in Ukraine and Georgia, Faouz El Achchabi, paid a visit to Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The guest was warmly welcomed by Professor Yurii Bobalo, Rector of Lviv Polytechnic University, who, during their conversation, expressed concrete proposals for expanding and deepening the cooperation between Ukraine and Morocco in the field of science and education. In particular, he spoke about the history of one of the largest and the oldest technical universities in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, provided information on the progress of the reform of higher education in Lviv Polytechnic, and the achievements of University scholars.
Ambassador Faouz El Achchabi expressed her appreciation for helping a group of Moroccan students at University and assured that she would facilitate in every way to establish cooperation between the universities of the Arab country and Lviv Polytechnic.
During the conversation, the guest underlined the interest of the Moroccan side in the possibility of using significant scientific and technical potential of Ukraine for joint projects. The ambassador emphasized that Ukrainian higher education has a high reputation in Morocco, and the number of Moroccan students, who are studying in Ukraine, is constantly increasing.
After the reception, Ms. Faouz El Achchabi met with her compatriots – students of Lviv Polytechnic.
