Young people can change the future, but they must be thinking and moving in the right direction, forgetting about stereotypes and mainstreaming. Be individuals, everything is in our hands. I think it’s time for the older generation to rest and give way to the youth, because we have many new ideas. Maybe it is very difficult to get into politics in Ukraine, but if a person is pushful, he will succeed. The proof is my group mate: although he’s got Management degree, he is an assistant of a member of parliament.
Kyrylo Dudik, a fifth-year student of the Institute of Architecture:
«Everyone can improve his life»
The youth have such a chance, but after finishing the university. Change is the question of experience and opportunities. When a person graduates, begins to work, he becomes more experienced and can change something in his sphere, thus in Ukraine. In addition, it is possible to change the country by doing simple things – for example, to be a cultured person, do not litter. Significant role in this is also played by public associations. Everyone can improve his life every day, but students do not have the chance to make changes at the global level.
Nadiia Vashchenia, a sixth-year student of the Institute of Power Engineering and Control Systems:
«The main thing is to be responsible»
It is possible, but it depends on the young people themselves. First of all, you need to have right values, your convictions. It is important not to be silent and to be proactive – if you see the problem, speak about it. You need to be more mature and responsible for your actions. Look at yourself and make changes in your environment. It’s not so difficult to get into politics, but to have influence you must have your own position, otherwise you will be affected by your surroundings and will be dragged through the mud. If you adhere to Christian values, you will act correctly.
