Lviv Polytechnic hosted the largest in Ukraine VII International Scientific and Practical Conference on Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials NANO 2019. Within its framework there was held an international Innovation Forum where four winners of startup competition were chosen.
More than 800 participants took part in the large-scale scientific meeting. During four days of the conference, there were registered more than 500 scientists and specialists in Nanotechnologies from 25 countries. According to Olena Fesenko, the Chairman of the local committee, about 180 participants were foreigners.
At the conference it was discussed the future development of Nanotechnologies in different countries of the world and the prospects of applying their experience in Ukraine. At the plenary meeting, well-known scientists in the field of Nanotechnologies presented six lectures.
One hundred participants from Lviv Polytechnic, representatives of different Departments, attended the conference. Mostly they took part in the section «Nanocomposites and nanomaterials».
