Danish consulting engineering firm BIIR in Aarhus is ready to teach, organize internship and employ students and graduates of Lviv Polytechnic.
Last week there was the first meeting of the heads of three Polytechnic Institutes – IEMT, IPEC and ICSIT, as well as the Department of Employment and Industrial Relations with Niels Thomas Sillesen, the founder of the company, Yurii Veretelnyk mechanical engineer, Maryna Stiahailo, HR Generalist, where they discussed the possibilities for cooperation.
– This company was founded in 2008 in Aarhus. In the Ukrainian market it has been operating since 2013. At first they developed their activities in Odesa, and now they began to work in Lviv. However, currently there is a small office with 10 people, but in the future they plan to increase the number of employees to 100. They are interested in specialists in the field of wind power and renewable energy, extraction and transportation of gas and oil. Also they need project managers, engineers and designers. During the meeting, guests learn about the training of the relevant specialists in Polytechnic, in particular, they examined innovative laboratories at IPEC, said Svitlana Hladun, the head of the Department of Employment and Industrial Relations.
