On October 27–28, 2022, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine in partnership with ORCID, Elsevier, Clarivate Analytics, Bentham Science, 4Science and other international organizations will hold the First International Conference «Open Science and Innovation in Ukraine 2022».
Leading scientists, researchers, managers, employees in the field of IT technologies, developers of scientific information platforms and systems, managers and employees of scientific libraries, managers of institutional repositories, publishers of scientific journals, postgraduate students and young scientists, project managers, heads of business incubators, co-organizers of startups, heads and members of library associations, and scientists working on conducting research related to artificial intelligence are invited to participate.
The main directions of the conference correspond to the key tasks of the project of the National Action Plan till 2030 for the implementation of the principles of Open Science, as well as to the issues of open innovation:
- ensuring open access to scientific results and scientific and technical information;
- ensuring open access to research infrastructure;
- modern practices of scientific research assessment;
- Citizen-Science: development, barriers and opportunities for implementation in Ukraine;
- open data and reproducibility of scientific research results;
- raising the level of awareness and building competence in Open Science;
- open innovations in terms of military actions and ways of development in the period of post-war reconstruction of the country.
