On 12 December, 2025, Lviv Polytechnic National University, together with the specialized business school PRO PM, began training the first group of 1st - 4th year students majoring in architecture and construction who seek to obtain modern knowledge, practical skills and master digital project management tools. The program «Fundamentals of Modern Project Management in Development, Architecture and Construction» is a joint initiative of the academic community and business aimed at forming a new generation of managers in the field of development, architecture and construction.
Project partners
- Lviv Polytechnic National University is one of the oldest technical universities in Ukraine and Europe, one of the TOP-10 higher education institutions in the country. It has a powerful Institute of Architecture and Design and the Institute of Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Life Safety, as well as many years of experience in training highly qualified specialists.
- PRO PM is a specialized business school that has been educating managers and industry professionals in modern project management methodologies and IT tools for more than eight years. The school has implemented dozens of programs for business owners and executives in development companies, project managers, engineers, and architects. It actively cooperates with the business sector and promotes the implementation of international management standards in Ukraine.
- Partner companies are leading Lviv development, architectural and construction companies. They not only co-finance training, but also participate in the formation of the program, provide mentoring support, organize internships and open their offices and construction sites for student visits. Among the partners there are socially responsible companies from the real sector that implement innovative technologies and strive to train new generation personnel.

The program opens the way for students to internships, real projects and, ultimately, to employment in leading companies in the industry. Business gets the opportunity to hire the best students, and students get a chance to prove themselves while still studying. Lviv Polytechnic faculty have the opportunity to get acquainted with the best teaching practices in business schools and improve their qualifications.
This is a pilot program. In the future, it is planned to create a permanent platform for interaction between students and business within Lviv Polytechnic for the systematic training of young specialists. The organizers hope that this project will become an example for other educational institutions and will be scaled up throughout Ukraine.
