Within the framework of expanding international cooperation and searching for new ways of financing educational institutions, a working meeting of the Vice-Rector for International Relations Oleh Karyy with the directors of the university's colleges took place at Lviv Polytechnic. The main focus of the event was the involvement of grant resources and project management as a basis for institutional growth.

Opening the meeting, Vice-Rector for International Relations Oleh Karyy emphasized that in the conditions of modern challenges, colleges should become more active subjects of the international grant space. The main goal of the event was not only to familiarize the management of colleges with alternative sources of financing but also to build a clear system of interaction between the university and its structural units.

Vice-Rector for Social Issues and Infrastructure Management Ihor Helzhynskyi also took part in the event, emphasizing the priority of the issue of integrating colleges into the general development strategy of the university.

An important part of the meeting was an intensive training from Zenovii Siryk, an expert on regional development of international programs EU-LEAD and DECIDE, and a professor at Lviv Polytechnic. The speaker shared practical experience of project management and emphasized the change in the paradigm of preparing applications.

"Grant work should not be a process 'for the sake of a checkmark'. Our goal is real project wins that will bring colleges new equipment, internships for teachers, and modern educational programs. Success depends on the quality of justification and a clear understanding of the needs of the community and the labor market," Zenovii Siryk noted.

The head of the Project Office of Lviv Polytechnic Nazarii Andrushchak presented in detail the range of international programs for which colleges can apply. Special attention was paid to the support mechanisms that the university is ready to provide to its units. He emphasized, in particular, the areas of support provided by the Project Office: monitoring of current grant competitions and programs; methodological assistance in the preparation of project applications; support of international projects; search for partners abroad.

Summing up, Oleh Karyy once again emphasized the importance of partnership:

"Lviv Polytechnic is open to cooperation. We have a unique situation where colleges can strengthen the university with their practical orientation, and Polytechnic can provide colleges with a powerful expert and reputation base for winning international competitions. I call you to active communication and joint work on grant applications."

The meeting became another step towards creating an effective ecosystem of international activity at Lviv Polytechnic, where each unit has tools for attracting investment and sustainable development.
