Dear Polytechnicians!
Today is a special day for everyone who knows and realizes the price of independence and freedom. Generation after generation our people have been struggling for the acquisition of state sovereignty, the right to be freely called a Ukrainian.
I am glad that Lviv Polytechnicians are always at the forefront of our rights and freedoms. Among our staff and students there are many soldiers who spare no effort in defending the eastern borders of our country for the sixth year in a row. From day to day at our university – in education, through corporate culture, through joint projects aimed at popularizing everything Ukrainian – in our country and in the world – we foster values and consciousness of our youth.
I sincerely congratulate you on one of the most significant holidays for every Ukrainian – the Independence Day of our Country! May the common goal – peace in Ukraine and freedom of our people – unite us all, give strength and patience to pave the way to a future where our country occupies a worthy place among highly developed countries of the world.
