On April 7, 2022, there was a presentation of the double diploma program for second-year students majoring in International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies, the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, Lviv Polytechnic. The double degree program has been actively operating at the Department of Political Science and International Relations for five years now. There are already more than 20 students graduating from Lviv Polytechnic National University and the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland.
The coordinator of the double degree program from the University of Warmia and Mazury, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Teresa Astramowicz-Leyk, acquainted students with the prospects of studying in the program, the structure and the peculiarities of educational and scientific activities at the university, as well as with the specifics of training in Political Science.
It’s worth noting that double degree programs for Lviv Polytechnic students are provided free of charge. This opens wide opportunities for further professional development of our students. In addition to studying, students have the opportunity to do an internship in the Sejm of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, get acquainted with the activities of scientific and public institutions, and attend scientific conferences and forums. This year the students have been actively participating in volunteer activities, helping Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
