From May 16 to 20 2022, faculty of the Department of Transport Technologies, the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport, Lviv Polytechnic National University, - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Senior Lecturer Halyna Pivtorak and Doctor of Philosophy, Assistant Romana Bura - participated in the Erasmus+ Academic Mobility Program at TU Dresden (Technische Universität Dresden), Federal Republic of Germany.
During the academic mobility program, Lviv Polytechnicians gave lectures to students of the Chair of Traffic Process Automation at TU Dresden. The topics of the lectures covered the issues of modeling the demand for passenger movements and methods of giving priority to public transport.
Also in the framework of mobility program, faculty of the Department of Transport Technologies, IMET, had a meeting with the Dean and Head of the Friedrich List Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences where they learned about the educational process at TU Dresden, participated in a scientific seminar at the Chair of Traffic Process Automation where they exchanged views on possible future cooperation in scientific activities, as well as got acquainted with the work of the laboratories of the Faculty and the available specialized software in the field of transport planning and management.
