From now on, certified architects of Ukraine can improve their skills in four specialized institutions of higher education. On November 18, the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine solemnly approved the relevant programs developed by the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Lviv Polytechnic National University, the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and the O. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv.
The signing took place with the participation of Nataliia Kozlovska, Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, Petro Kulikov, Rector of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Oleh Matviikiv, First Vice-Rector of Lviv Polytechnic National University, Vladyslav Danishevskyi, Acting Rector of the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Volodymyr Babaiev, Rector of the O. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv.
«Professional improvement is an actualization of architects’ own knowledge and skills, which are necessary for their professional activity. And it is great that today the most leading specialized institutions of higher education, which without exaggeration can be considered as architecture schools, have been given the opportunity to develop and use in practice the programs for improving the qualifications of architects», emphasized Nataliia Kozlovska.
It should be noted that every five years architects must update their knowledge and skills necessary for professional activity through advanced training, which is a necessary condition for the indefinite validity of their qualification certificates.
